Hi, welcome to the sixth syn-rg at work e-newsletter.

At Studio Syn-rg we are always keen to showcase our own work, but are equally excited to showcase our fellow contemporaries. This issue is dedicated to photographer and friend, Elli Ioannou and her recent WILLOW exhibitions in New York and Sydney.

Motion and emotion characterise much of Elli’s imagery. Elli sources her main inspiration from cinematography, literature, travelling and her subjects. Specialising in contemporary fashion and
portrait photography, Elli’s eye for detail and unique use of light give her imagery a distinct style.

spring/summer 2008 exhibition

Elli has worked extensively in Europe, Sydney, Melbourne and most recently, New York and London. Constant travel is part of Elli's approach to expanding her personal vision.

Her most recent period living in New York was the inspiration behind the latest exhibition, a series of images shot at New York Fashion Week capturing the WILLOW Spring/Summer 08 show backstage.
