Hi, welcome to the seventh syn-rg at work e-newsletter.

A Web Content Management System (Web CMS) is consistently becoming a standard requirement for most of our website productions. They allow a client or website owner to edit, manage and publish the content of their website themselves, with little or no training and without requiring technical knowledge of HTML.

CMS software is primarily a maintenance tool that allows you to keep your website current and post important changes, rather than relying on and contracting a web developer. The CMS can also link into our easy-to-use email newsletter mailing software or web forums. Read the articles below to find out more...

.au domain name policy
an important note to Australian businesses

The policy regarding the sale of .au domain names came into effect on 1st June 2008. The changes effectively mean that the ban on consumers purchasing .au domain names and selling them to the highest bidder will end. Consequently, the risk of competitors registering .au domain names associated with your online brand/business will increase.

If you haven’t registered the .com.au and .net.au domain names for your business, do so now, as you may have to bid for them against other prospective purchasers in the future.
