Amcor Brand Central online brand asset management solution

Since the launch of the new Amcor brand in 2009, there had not been a central online location for co-workers and authorised external third parties (eg suppliers) to access the Brand Guidelines, artwork and other key brand related materials. As a result, out-of-date materials were being used across the business and differing or incomplete Guidelines existed.

syn-rg was approached by Amcor to scope the online brand asset management solution so all global partners could access the guidelines information and communications material.

Amcor Brand Central (powered by syn-rg’s solution) provides a central repository for Amcor’s Brand Standards, Policy, templates, brandmark artwork, approved corporate images and other related files.

The solution includes a registration process prior to accessing the materials and is designed to:

  • control access to internal and external user groups (eg third parties)
  • protect Amcor’s intellectual property through user acceptance of terms and conditions prior to entry
  • create a database of users that can be promptly notified of changes, additions or deletions to brand related materials
  • allow the flexibility of an accreditation process for third parties
  • limit access or privileges for certain users or set access to expire within a certain timeframe.

syn-rg worked closely with the Amcor brand team, who redesigned the interface to adhere to Amcor best practice and functionality requirements. syn-rg then applied the designs to the user interface graphics, colours and text.

The result is one of our most striking and customised solutions to date.
