syn-rg were approached by ISIS to refresh their website and showcase their portfolio of work with more compelling and engaging imagery and graphics.

The current website did not portray ISIS as a professional, contemporary, youthful and experienced business. The imagery was uninspiring and the information outdated, corporate and dry and did not show that ISIS was fun to work with/for.

The ISIS values of integrity, character, excellence and intelligence had to somehow find their way into the website schema, as these characteristics were absent from the original site. The site also needed to work harder as a sales tool, by demonstrating an understanding of the market and showcase their case studies and expertise in sustainability.

The original web framework resided within an outdated and complex CMS that was difficult and time-consuming to update. A requirement of the new website was the ability for the marketing team to be able to make all changes and additions to content themselves.

Requirements included:

• A website that clearly communicates who ISIS are and what they do.
• A site that clearly promotes ISIS’ work and case studies in an engaging and compelling manner.
• A site that promotes ISIS’ commitment to achieving leadership in the development of sustainable office fitouts.
• A website that can be used to generate business and leads.
• A site that keeps clients up to date and informed about ISIS projects.
• A site that effectively communicates with ISIS subcontractors.
• A site that communicates that ISIS is a great place to work.

The final result is a website that will provide ISIS with a minimum five year platform to communicate and market their credentials.

syn-rg worked closely with the ISIS Brand & Marketing team to define the website brief and scoped the final project solution before commencing any online strategy or development work.

A review of the original website, via an initial web assessment, helped analyse and better understand potential gaps and any failed initiatives and content.

syn-rg then conducted a series of user workshops that included written/online questionnaires, group discussions and usability testing. The sessions enabled all stakeholders to understand where potential gaps existed and how to move forward with new website strategies and initiatives.

syn-rg project managed all aspects of the user workshops, collated all research and feedback from participants and provided a ‘recommendations’ document to move forward. The findings helped us determine the requirements for the new website and understand how all stakeholders across the organisation needed the new website to function to aid their own marketing initiatives.

We scoped the new website and provided a final project definition, which included new online SEO and marketing strategies, as well as recommending the appropriate technology and CMS to drive website content.

syn-rg then worked with ISIS to design a visually beautiful, imagery rich and compelling website design. Central to the solution was the integration of social media and lead-generation initiatives, including SEO link-building strategies and the following custom modules:

• Integration with iMAP careers database
• News, email marketing and YouTube video channel integration
• Social media integration, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
• WebMail access

The result is a website that ISIS are both inspired and proud to promote to their community. It provides a platform for ISIS to generate business and leads and cuts down the time it takes to follow up prospects and engage with business.

The ISIS website utilises syn-rg’s state-of-the-art WebToolkit CMS and is, by far, one of the easiest and intuitive content management systems available.
